When creating the style and image for my band, I had to think about 3 main things:

1. Our sound

   Which is more on the grungy side, less clean, strong, and aggressive, and how I wanted to convey that through our imaging.

2. Our look

   The way we represent ourselves as individuals, and how to tie that in.

3. Representing all the members

   Creating media that reflects us as a group, but still connects with the identity of each of its members

This is how I landed on our logo of a dog’s mouth with our name between its jaws. The dog is a recurring image for us as it’s based on our drummer’s dog, which became our informal mascot. I felt the dog had a look that wasn’t traditionally scary but could still be viewed as strong and agressive but also he’s a sweet puppy that we all love, connecting us together.
